Mark Clavier, ‘Bringing the Bible Alive: Easter and the Fulfilment of Creation’

Mark Clavier is Canon Theologian of the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon and Vicar of St Mary’s, Brecon. Besides serving in parishes in America, England, and Wales, he served for four years as Dean of Residential Training and then Acting Principal of St Michael’s College, Cardiff before becoming Vice-Principal of St Stephen’s House, Oxford for two years. He is the author of a number of books on Augustine and on the challenge of consumerism. His latest book is A Pilgrimage of Paradoxes: A Backpacker’s Encounters with God and Nature (Bloomsbury, 2021).
