Richard Peers is former Dean of Llandaff. He was sub-dean of Christ Church, Oxford and, before that, the Diocesan Director of Education in Liverpool Diocese, and Head Teacher of Trinity All Through School, Lewisham, in London. He was a founder and first Superior of the Sodality of Mary, Mother of Priests, a dispersed community of Anglican priests with members around the world.
